Gruyere Trip!!!

i went to the cheese and chocolate factory yesterday ^^
U know i am actually waiting for my turn to take the statistic exam in the computer room.
All the computers here are Mac!!! and just detest it cause it's so different from what i'm use to...but we all have to do the exam in the computer room~but because there is not enough room, the lecture split us to a few groups..and she is so sly, she set 6 difference questions!!!!!! there is no way i'm going to guess what are the questions that is coming out even though most of the BBA has finish~~!!!!

So, about the trip to Gruyere. It is an excursion to the chocolate and cheese factory. For those who don't know what is an excursion, it is trips sponsor by the school for free. There will be excursions from time to time and students from HIM just have to register and pay a deposit. So yeah, i went for a free trip to Gruyere and the last time about the Bern trip, it was an excursion as well.

We leave Hotel Europe on the bus at 1 in the afternoon. The ride take approximately an hours to reach Gruyere. And of course the first stop that we got off was suppose to be the cheese factory (and we took some pic btw) but apparently the bus driver drop us at the wrong spot and we have to get on the bus again >~<

After traveling for like 5 minutes then we reach the cheese factory~~

the minute we enter, there is the smell of cheese!!! i just dun really fancy that smell ><

We were given FREE cheese and a post card...those who knows me know what i will do with the cheese rite!!LOLX...

oh u will see photos of all of us holding phone like thingy..it is actually a voice guide ^^

So after all the fooling around in the cheese factory, we are then off to my favorite place of all~~ Charlie and the chocolate factory ^^ Weeeeee~~~~~

there was all sorts of pictures and description of the history of chocolate and how did it all started while we wait in line for our turn to go in...

the first room remind me a lot like the haunted mansion in Disney land Chicago where the walls of the room can move and u will feel that ur going lower or rather the walls are going higher~~

Let me elaborate further, every group is only allowed 20 person. A group will be in a room where a recording voice will be played through the speaker about the history. Stuff in the room would move to further elaborate the story making it interesting and dramatic ~

we move from one room to another, the doors will open and close automatically ^^ cool huh

The 3rd room was in a ship where they really make u feel like ur in a boat...u guys know that i got seasick right??? =~=

so after all the story telling we emerge into a room full of ingredients like choco beans and various types of nuts..this is where all the eating started ^^ we taste various plentiful nuts from kacang to cashew to wallnut, u name it~

after finish all the testing~~ we head to another section of the room, while all along it u can view how the chocolates are made.

so here is where we get free chocolates~~

after we GRAB took the whole tray some chocolate

well, that was the main reason all of us are here..

hahha...

Bunny was the worse of all...

she went and fill up her bag when the staff was not looking!!!

so, after grabbing enough chocolate, we reach a comment section where u are free to write what ever u wan on the paper provide and put it up the wall.





After spending some time there..where i wrote several malay, english and chinse stuff..a lil of french if i remember correctly..ahahha..I emerge into a ROOM of chocolate!!! I mean like FREE tasting chocolate!!! I'm not kidding!! there was chocolate all the way to the end (@_@) and FYI, i only ate like 3 OK!! it was too much chocolate for a girl to take..we spend like forever awhile in that particular area *-*

after the chocolate feast, u can buy chocolates ^^

and that is almost the end of the trip ~~~

Since we were so free, we started taking photos again ^^

My 21st Bday

It was my birthday yesterday!!!!!!
I am officially 21 ^^
i guess we all have first time for everything huh~~~
during the eve of my birthday, i went out out wif my bunch of frens for dinner at Au Parc.
It was pleasant ^^, Juno paid for my meal...
i had my Aglio Olio as the food here are very expensive
