First stop: Budapest, Hungrary

If u guy had read about my previous post about my trip, or rather u browse through it coz it has too many words, then i have good news for u, i am re writing that post but with PHOTOS in it..yeah!!!

When we first arrive ^^

So, as i mention before, the first day in Budapest was so cold..i can’t remember what was the temperature but it was damn cold !!!!! we had our first dinner at a pizza place where we met a good looking Hungarian guy ^^

The second day we went to the Heroes Square as well as Meseum of Fine Arts and Arts Gallery. We also spend some time in the city part as well as the Vajdahunyad Castle. I was damn cold and i brought a new cap ^^

After all that sight seeing, it was time to meet up with Siu Bo,
she was in the hotel the whole day coz she need to finish up a report...
so while waiting in the cafe call Heaven Coffee, we cam-whore...

So after meeting up with Siu Bo, we went and have our dinner.
To celebrate our first day of out holiday we decide to go for a good looking Italian restaurant...
This was consider our First Budapest dinner.....in an Italian restaurant...i know...hahahah!!!


Day 3 we explore the Buda Castle District where there are the Fisherman’s Bastion, Buda Castle as well as the Matthian Church. Most of the time we were in doors as it was FREEZING outside. I can still remmeber that my boots was really ruin T.T anyway, back to the topic we took pic of the city in the castle as it is situated on the mountain.

Day 4 we explore the Pest side of Budapest. We went to St Stephen Basilica, Hungarian State Opera House which we didn’t pay to go in cause it was too late and it was too damn expensive. And then we took a bunch of photos of the view of Buda and Pest…LOLX !!!

New Year Eve, welcoming year 2011

Since my photos are all over the place right now, i would just have to skip all the parts and choose a topic to blog about. U get what i mean?? i just mean that i will not follow the sequence to blog like starting fro Budapest then Vienna then Prague and so on so forth..i will may start from the recent one and then back track....so some where in the middle...but dun worry, i will try not to be too confusing...

so i choose to talk about my new year eve.

at that time i was in London.

To not confuse u, i was first in Cambridge then Oxford then London for the count down.

on that day itself, we met up with Bunny's fren Fung and then met up with his fren, Elaine...

we woke up late that day as i recall coz we were thinking of resting first and then we can party till late plus it has been a long way since we started traveling...><...

we wanted to at least do some sight seeing first so we went to the Science Museum in London which is also free...on the way there, we went thru the park where we saw squirrels!!!

After some photos..which we have quite a few, but i am too lazy to upload..and i am sure u wouldn't want to see a bunch of photos with only squirrels in it...*seriously, there is A LOT*

So after the museum, we went for dinner and then met up with Elaine. we first had a few drinks at a restaurant and wanted to spend the count down in the restaurant itself as it was chaos outside...actually the original plan was to count down at the Big Ben, but then there was way too much ppl and we didn't want to stand...so ya, the restaurant is the best option..mana tau, at 10 something, the restaurant call for LAST call..and that it was going to close!! we were like WTF!!! some more it was another 2 hours till midnight.

so we came out, with no clue of where we were going to go..and most of the place dun let others in any more, as the place was too crowded...

but eventually, we found a club and went in for 15 pounds per pax...

and then we continue drinking till the midnight...i was already tipsy by the time the clock strikes...+_+

come to think of it, i think it was because of DaiLou i got drunk.....

right after midnight, we went out to a whole street of people..everyone from all over the clubs and restaurant came out and like us was trying to get home...

and the best thing is that ALL the underground (train, railway etc) are FREE...

yes, so we can get home for free with the underground...

i can still remember that Siu Bo was tugging me and Bunny home as she was the only sober one..haha..

while walking squeezing with the people, i started laughing with a Russian guy for no reason..that guy was also drunk as i recall, and then later Bunny join in..hahha!! it was hilarious, three of us was laughing so hard for no reason and it last for like 2 min... Eventually, Siu Bo have to scold and ask us to shut up!!!

so, the end of the day was that we manage to reach the hotel safely ^^

Today is my second day in London. Spend the whole day shopping for my stuff..hahahha…anyway, since i have not been blogging for such a long time. I will try and update my recent trip till to the United Kingdom. As all of u know that my trip started in Budapest and then i took a bus to Vienna then another bus to Prague and finally to Cambridge by plane.

The first day in Budapest was so cold..i can’t remeber what was the temperature but it was damn cold !!!!! we had our first dinner at a pizza place where we met a good looking Hungarian guy ^^

At night, when Siu Bo finally finish her report, she join us for dinner at an Italian restaurant when it got great compliment from BunBun. She was adding points to the restaurant till it reach the top. After dinner, we went for a walk at the Dina river and took a few photos on the Chain Bridge where it connects the Buda district and Pest district.

Now the next destination was Vienna where the cost of living was way expensive then Budapest. Before in Budapest, the condition of the train, i can describe as a rusty box with wheels on it….hahahhhhahaha… while in Vienna the trains were upgraded in a more sophisticated country. Day1 was when we arrive and settle in the hotel, we went to the St. Stephen’s Catheral and finally found a restaurant and ate the local Vienna glaush. I can’t really explain the day by day travel but we went to the Library meseum as well as the KHM museum. The day before we left, we went and watch the oprera with Mozart and Strasse with ballet and opera singers. It was beautiful ^^ on of the things that i wanna do on my list.

After Vienna, we went to Prague, where it was back to a more back dated country where the train was back to a rusty box…but a more well maintain rusty box..hahahha !! we first went out for a walk and found out that our hotel is actually in the center of the city and all the attraction in within mins walk from our hotel. So eventually i can say that i walk through this the whole part of Prague. We went to the famous Prague Castle, the Minute House and a bunch of many other names that i dun rmb..hahahah !! we spend our Christmas in a restaurtant eating the local dish..it was a wonderful meal !!

We took the plane to Cambrige where we walk around the place feeling like a gruate of the University while Siu Bo went crazy shopping. Lolx, what can i say..girls will be girls… and then when we finally finish with the sightseeing, we went join her shopping spree...finally when we were all too tired to move, we catch the next bus to Oxford where it was on the 28th of Dec. We went to the famous Bicester Street where all the branded outlets are having sale. I didn’t take any pictures there because all of us were so busy shopping. But u can imagine from Gucci, DKNY, Diesel to Guess, YSL, Burberry, and not to mention Prada and Jimmy Choo. So after all the spending, off to the next destination which is main city LONDON !!! On the second day of being in London, i had done all the shopping that i need to do ^^

other places i will update on another day..i am very sorry that there is no photo but as all of u know that my lappy is in a coma..so i can't retrive all my photos...maybe u can jz view it on facebook...hahha!!!
