Today is my third day~~

u don't know the third day of what??

Training lo!!

...I'm currently training in El Cerdo....

Well, my first day was really really tiring...

i have to learn things right from the bottom..

Then there's people to meet, new things to learn, things to do and all kind of stuff...

Well, basically the whole restaurant staff are from Myanmar, so there is difficulty in the communication side...Other than that, they are really friendly..

let me introduce to u, the staff...

So for now I'm only listing out the names as i am running out of time

(i'l try to get pic of them ya~)

But since i have to write my Industrial Report therefore i am now writing what i have experience these 3 days..

Day 1

1. Have to memorize the table coordinates

2. Product knowledge

3. Where to get all the service gear and stuff

4. How do they run the restaurant

5. Get to know all the staff

Day 2

1. Practice the table setting

2. Get use to the environment

3. Mostly is just know what to do and ask what ever that i don't understand

4. I have been switch to the Cashiering department

Day 3

1. Help the casher in any way that i can

2. Learn how to key in the order

3. Learn how to close the bill

4. Learn how to settle the bill

Anyway, that was what i have learn so far...

Anyway, everybody knows where i live right??

Well, everyday i have to travel to the LRT station and then switch to the monorail...

So, the problem is getting to the LRT station every morning...

Since i stay so far therefore all my training shif is split shif...

Because I always arrive earlier then i have to due to the traspostation problem, therefore i have to find a spot where i can sit and relax...

Can u guess where i went???

i have been there everyday since i started training le...

I even fall asleep at the lobby this morning...

So, i wouldn't be a surprise that the security guard knows me...

Ehhem... anyway, the main point is that me, Lin and Diny always hangs out there...

Oh ya, i still haven't fill in the details of my restaurant ya...

So, El Cerdo is a Spanish word means The Pig.

This restaurant is still using the manual management where only the Chef De Rong can take order and that the server have to let them check the bill before they hand it to the guest.

The restaurant also uses the captain order which is very unusual for the restaurant nowadays to practice.

The server have to fire the following course every time the guest finish their meal.

The supervisor, Chef De Rong and bartender are at the same 'tahap'.

So far the people have been nice to me... But the fun part is that i get to meet new ppl and they are gossip around to talk about..Even thought it's not as big as the hotel but still there are lots of interesting stuff happening~~~

Since th boss have a now shop opposite the restaurant which is call Werner's at Changkat, some of the staff have been move to the other side...

Andres the former manager of El Cerdo is in charge of the Werner's which is more bar.

Every night the restaurant will be pack with guest....most of them are regular...

The no. of pax increases as the days go by..So, that means i have to prepare myself for Sunday...

and FYI a minimum of RM60 is the average amount that one have to pay to dined in that restaurant...And that doesn't includes that famous dish and dessert and of course wine.

So, that for today....
